On his third try, Kishore Jena scores 80.27, placing him eighth in his qualification group at the moment. His current best throw is 80.73.

Zhendong takes the game as Veteran Sharath Kamal falls behind. 

Match 3: India 7-11 China

As if to say, don't count that, Kishore walks out of the line when his second throw is too short. 80.73 meters was the first throw.

A shoulder injury had already ruled Nisha Dahiya out following her loss to Pak Sol Gum. Now, Pakistan lost the semifinal match, therefore there won't be a repechage for her.

Day 11 activity begins with a pre-quarterfinal match between the men's table tennis team and China. Kiran will compete in the women's 400-meter relay in athletics as too.

In the qualification round, Neeraj will face Vadlejch of the Czech Republic, Anderson Peters of Grenada, Arshad of Pakistan, Julius Yego of Kenya, Walcott of Trinidad, and Helander of Finland.

"No, it's not like that. Since it's the Olympics, a lot of countries have come. We don't think like that. There is nothing like that. It is friendly when we meet them. I also meet them. There is no such intention," Kishore Jena exclaims his thoughts on the India-Pakistan rivalry.

In the women's 50kg category, Vinesh Phogat will take on Susaki in her opening competition. The current champion, Susaki, took home the gold in Tokyo.

Sable qualified in the Men's Steeplechasse and will feature in the final of the event. 

Neeraj Chopra and Kishore Jena will be in action as the Men's Javelin Team will begin their campaign, starting today.
