Neeraj Chopra kept it simple in qualifying for the men's javelin final as he just went in and threw a monstrous fate to seal his qualification in the first attempt itself. 

Neeraj Chopra's insane throw was also the best throw of the entire qualifying as he threw the Javelin to 89.34m to storm into the finals.

The reigning Olympic Champion Neeraj Chopra continued his title defence in splendid style as he threw a his season best 89.34m throw and stormed to the finals of Men's Javelin.

Chopra's insane throw at 89.34m not only was his season best throw but it also turned out to be the best throw in the Javelin qualification. 

Neeraj Chopra to face tough opposition in the finals 

Neeraj Chopra despite his season best isn't guaranteed to defend his crown at the Paris Olympics as he is set to face a really tough opposition in the finals.

Neeraj Chopra's toughest opponent is set to be Anderson Peters who qualified for the finals with a throw of 88.63m. 

While, Julian Weber from Germany and Jakub Vadlejch from Czech Republic are also going to be in the mix to snatch Neeraj's Olympic crown away.  Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem is also someone who is considered to have an outside shot at contention.
