WWE has huge plans in place for The Rock vs Roman Reigns dream match: Reports

According to reports Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will be at WWE's Elimination Chamber event in Perth the following year. The annual Chamber event will take place at the Optus Stadium in February, and last week, WWE announced they would visit Australia for the first time in six years. In her home country, Rhea Ripley, who currently holds the WWE Women's World Championship, is expected to make the event's headline.

However, there will be a number of other celebrities in town for the event, and Johnson might be the most notable of them all. According to sources, the event, which is only five months away, might likely feature The Rock. The West Australian reports that the veteran might compete at the gathering to start preparing for a potential match against his actual cousin and WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

The next year's WrestleMania will be the first of its kind under the new ownership. The idea is reportedly that the company are keen to make the event a spectacular one because of that reason, with Reigns versus The Rock as a serious possibility as the main event of the two-day event.

Johnson made a return to WWE programming a little over a week ago, appearing on SmackDown as he confronted Austin Theory and engaged with several other stars backstage. Prior to his showing he had teased a potential match with Reigns at next year's 'Mania, stating on The Pat McAfee Show that the match was supposed to have happened earlier in 2023.

Thus, nothing concrete can be gauged regarding this colossal encounter.
