TEC, IIIT Delhi join forces to advance responsible AI

The Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), a technical arm of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), has partnered with the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIITD), to spearhead innovations in trustworthy and responsible artificial intelligence (AI) systems, according to an official statement released on Friday.

This collaboration aims to tackle biases within AI systems and promote fairness assessments, fostering public trust in these technologies. The initiative aligns with the government's objectives to enhance Responsible AI practices. 

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) cementing this partnership was signed on November 3, 2023, highlighting the commitment of TEC and IIITD to drive advancements in the realm of Responsible AI.
