POCO has launched the M7 5G, its new smartphone with features such as 5G connectivity, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, and a 50MP Sony camera for under ₹10,000. The POCO M7 5G, a toned-down version of the POCO M7 Pro, also offers two years of major Android updates, bringing Android 14-based HyperOS.

The POCO M7 5G costs ₹9,999 for the variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the model with 8GB of RAM is priced at ₹10,999. However, these prices will be valid for the first sale, which will be held on Flipkart on March 7. It will then sell at the regular prices of ₹10,499 and ₹11,499. The POCO M7 5G comes in Satin Black, Mint Green, and Ocean Blue.

POCO M7 5G specifications

The POCO M7 5G is an entry-level smartphone, packing a mix of good specifications and features. The smartphone has a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits. An octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor powers the POCO M7 5G, working in tandem with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 1TB. It runs Android 14-based HyperOS but will support up to two major upgrades. That means the POCO M7 5G will be eligible to receive Android 15 and Android 16.

For photography, the POCO M7 5G has a 50MP Sony IMX852 camera and a 2MP secondary sensor on the rear system. Its selfie camera uses an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calls. The POCO M7 5G supports 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB-C port for connectivity. It has a 5160mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging using the 33W charger bundled with the phone in the box. The POCO M7 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, as well.
