BAPS ‘Hit Job’? Paris Probe Finds No Request To Remove Women Staff

Paris: An investigation in Paris found no evidence that BAPS asked for women staff to be removed or excluded during the September 5 visit to the Eiffel Tower. The investigating officials found no written instruction, email, or explicit request from BAPS, saying that the message was distorted as it passed verbally through tower management.

A limited request to avoid physical contact with religious figures allegedly evolved into women staff being sidelined at some posts. The controversy triggered a staff strike that shut the Eiffel Tower for a day, while BAPS denied ever seeking the removal or exclusion of female employees. So, was BAPS the target of a hit job?
