Birch Nightclub Fire: Goa Club Explosion Kills At Least 25 People

The most popular tourist destination in India was put on hold after a fire broke out at the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Arpora hamlet in North Goa, resulting in 25 fatalities and 6 injuries. Fourteen of the twenty-five people who died were employees of the nightclub. 

Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, the proprietors of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Arpora village, were the targets of a formal complaint. Chief General Manager Rajiv Modak, Gate Manager Priyanshu Thakur, and Bar Manager Rajveer were the four people detained by the Anjuna Police. Potential safety infractions, congestion, and deficiencies in emergency preparedness are still being investigated. For more, see the entire video.
