Rajnath Warns Pakistan: ‘Next Misadventure Will Cost Dearly’

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited Jaisalmer for the Army Commanders’ Conference, where he assessed border readiness and discussed key national security issues. Addressing soldiers during the Barakhana interaction, he issued a sharp warning to Pakistan, stressing that India’s decisive response in Operation Sindoor has already forced Islamabad to rethink its actions. Singh cautioned that any future provocation would trigger an even tougher retaliation, reaffirming India’s resolve to protect its sovereignty.

He commended the Armed Forces for advancing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat through enhanced capabilities and atmanirbharta-driven defence reforms. During the visit, he also inaugurated initiatives like Shaurya Van and the Sainik Yatri Mitra App, praising the Army’s professionalism and ongoing modernization efforts aimed at strengthening India’s western front.
