Bangladesh Protests: Kolkata Demonstrates Against Violence On Hindu Minorities

Kolkata witnessed multiple demonstrations condemning reported attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. These protests were triggered primarily by the lynching of Dipu Chandra Das, a 27-year-old Hindu garment factory worker, on December 18, 2025, in Mymensingh district. Das was accused of blasphemy, beaten to death by a mob, and his body set on fire.
