Iran-US-Israel War: Iran All Alone As Middle East Condemns Attacks
The Middle East condemn Iran's attacks after Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a public apology for the recent Iranian drone and missile attacks on Gulf states, claiming they were uncontrolled responses by the military following the killing of Supreme Leader Khamenei. Qatar, Egypt, Bahrain, Turkey, Syria, and Jordan swiftly rejected the apology, calling it insincere and inadequate. Qatar’s Prime Minister described the strikes as a “big sense of betrayal,” emphasising that attacks began just an hour after the war started despite Qatar’s neutrality and mediation efforts. Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi condemned the aggression against brotherly Arab states and stressed that Arab security is integral to Egyptian security.
Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa called the attacks “unprecedented and unjustifiable,” praising his forces for thwarting them. Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan warned Iran to “watch out,” stating Turkey would not be easily provoked but would defend itself if attacks continued. Jordan and Syria categorically denied Iranian claims that their territories were used to launch strikes on Iran, reaffirming their non-involvement and condemning Tehran’s violations of sovereignty. The unified rejection across the region underscores a profound loss of trust, with Gulf and Arab states viewing Iran’s actions as reckless and expansionist.
