Trump Assassination Attempt: Chaos Moments After Shooting Caught On Cam | Unseen Footage

A 31-year-old California man, Cole Tomas Allen, was arrested after attempting to storm the ballroom during the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner on Saturday night. The incident occurred while President Donald Trump, senior administration officials, reporters, and news executives were inside. Journalist Laura Haim captured the chaotic moments as Secret Service agents rushed to escort officials like Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to safety, while guests ducked under tables. Allen, who had checked into the same hotel days earlier, was expected to face criminal charges on Monday.

Allen, described as a highly educated tutor and amateur video game developer, lived at his parents’ house in a historic neighborhood in Torrance, California. Public records show he is the oldest of four siblings. The FBI is investigating his background and motives, with officials confirming he traveled by train from California. The dramatic breach has raised serious security concerns surrounding high-profile Washington events.
