Amazon Is Going All-In On India’s 10-Minute Shopping Boom

Amazon is investing $3 billion in India’s quick commerce sector by 2030, its biggest bet yet on ultra-fast delivery. Currently lagging with just 6.2% market share behind Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart, the company plans to expand micro-fulfilment centres, use AI for demand prediction, and broaden its Amazon Now service from daily essentials to higher-value products like electronics and fashion through larger Urban Fulfilment Centres.

The move comes amid rising regulatory scrutiny and intense competition in a market where speed is becoming the new battleground.
