Bengaluru Money Heist: A group of five to six men impersonating RBI officials executed a daylight robbery in Bengaluru, escaping with a cash van carrying ₹7.1 crore. The heist, appearing meticulously planned, unfolded on a flyover between an HDFC Bank branch in JP Nagar and HBR Layout.
The cash belonged to CMS Info Systems and was being transported in three boxes when the criminals struck. The operation involved an MUV, two hatchbacks, and the CMS armoured van, indicating a carefully coordinated setup by the miscreants.
