BREAKING: UP Man Kills Wife, 2 Priests Over Puja, Holds Kids Hostage; Police Action Leaves Him Dead

A man named Arvind Singh in Shambhupur village, Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh, allegedly shot and killed his wife Babita Singh and two priests, Mahendra Pathak and Akhilesh Mishra, after flying into a rage upon finding them performing a religious ritual at his home. Using a licensed firearm, he first shot his wife and then the priests following a verbal dispute.

He then locked himself inside a room with his two children as hostages. Police have surrounded the house and are working to safely rescue the children and apprehend him, while confirming the local law-and-order situation remains under control.
