Delhi Building Collapse: PG Locked From Outside as Students Allegedly Ordered to Stay Silent

Following the tragic Satya Niketan building collapse in Delhi that claimed seven lives, fresh controversies have erupted over student safety and freedom in nearby private accommodations. Ground investigations from the Satya Niketan PG building collapse site revealed that female residents of a nearby PG were allegedly locked inside from the outside and explicitly instructed by management not to speak with reporters or expose sub-standard room conditions.

As students pay exorbitant monthly rents exceeding ₹18,000 for cramped quarters, the Delhi building collapse has sparked severe outrage regarding unchecked PG rentals, lack of municipal oversight, and the systemic suppression of student rights in educational hubs following the PG building collapse.
