DMK Hits Out at Trisha’s Front-Row Role in CM Vijay's I-Day Celebrations

DMK’s official mouthpiece Murasoli has launched a sharp attack on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay over actress Trisha’s presence at the Independence Day celebrations. Trisha was seated in the front row alongside Vijay’s parents at Fort St George. Videos showed them exchanging salutes as the Chief Minister reviewed the proceedings. The editorial called the scene a “shameful spectacle” and said the dignity of the CM’s office flew away in the wind. It claimed even those who voted for Vijay could not accept the sight and accused him of justifying such behaviour openly.
