India Protests Against Lynching Of Hindus In Bangladesh, Demands Justice

Following the terrible mob lynching of 27-year-old Hindu textile worker Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh's Mymensingh district on December 18, 2025, New Delhi saw numerous protests in front of the Bangladesh High Commission in Chanakyapuri. During riots sparked by the assassination of student leader Sharif Osman Hadi, the victim was beaten to death over suspicions of blasphemy; his body was allegedly fastened to a tree and burned.
