'Vehicle Demonstrated Excellent Track Record',Says ISRO Chief After Satellite Launch

ISRO’s LVM3-M6 rocket successfully launched the Bluebird Block-2 satellite from Sriharikota on Thursday, marking an important milestone in India’s commercial satellite launch missions. In his pre-launch address, ISRO Chief Dr V Narayanan highlighted the vehicle’s strong performance record and underlined India’s growing leadership in the space sector.

Despite a brief delay of around 90 seconds, the heaviest Bluebird payload was launched as planned, strengthening India’s position in global space collaborations. Mission control later confirmed that the satellite’s orbital insertion is proceeding as scheduled.
