Kilokari Murder: Manipuri Singer Chongtham Vikram Singh Chased and Beaten; Candlelight March Held

A 54-year-old Manipuri musician and music teacher, Chongtham Vikram Singh, died after he was allegedly assaulted outside his residence in Delhi's Kilokari area. According to police, Singh had objected to a group allegedly drinking, shouting and creating a disturbance outside his apartment before an alleged confrontation turned violent.

Police have arrested seven people and apprehended one juvenile in connection with the case. Meanwhile, members of the Manipuri and Northeast communities held a candlelight march in southeast Delhi, demanding justice for Vikram Singh following his death.
