Mumbai School Kids Taken Hostage By Kidnapper Who Asks For Conversation

High drama unfolded in Mumbai’s Powai area after 20 children from LNT School were held hostage by a man under the guise of a film audition. Acting swiftly, Mumbai Police stormed the studio and safely rescued all the children.

The accused, identified as Rohit Arya, admitted to calling 100 students for the supposed audition, releasing 80 and locking up the remaining 20 in a room. Reports suggest Arya was demanding a contractual deal when the police intervened.

During the operation, officers fired a warning shot to disarm the kidnapper before overpowering him and freeing the hostages.
