BMW Car Crash: Navjot Singh's Last Rites Held As Accused Gaganpreet Seeks Bail

Deputy Finance Secretary Navjot Singh was laid to rest on September 16, a day after being fatally crushed in a BMW crash involving accused driver Gaganpreet Makkad. Police apprehended Gaganpreet nearly 24 hours after the accident, and a judge remanded her to two days of judicial custody on September 15. She has now filed a bail plea, claiming the collision was “wholly accidental” and without intent.
