Republic Confronts Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa Over Severe AQI

As satellite images revealed a dense pollution cloud over large parts of India, Republic TV and Arnab Goswami launched the #NOTAforAQI movement to question political leaders over years of inaction. With AQI levels reaching hazardous categories, citizens continue to struggle for clean air while political leaders engage in blame games.

Satellite visuals have shown thick red and brown pollution clouds across several regions, triggering concern among people as breathing clean air increasingly becomes a public health emergency rather than a seasonal issue.

According to satellite imagery accessed from IQAir, air quality in multiple Indian cities has been classified as “unhealthy”, “very unhealthy” and “hazardous”.
