Rajnath Singh Remembers Pahalgam Attacks, Warns Pakistan | Operation Sindoor | Berlin

At an Indian community event in Berlin, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised India’s digital transformation, stating that the country has become a global hub for real-time transactions with a record 22.64 billion UPI payments in March alone, worth nearly ₹29.53 lakh crore, and has extended the UPI facility to several other nations. He said India is not chasing superpower status but is instead guided by the ancient philosophy of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (the world is one family).

Addressing the West Asia crisis, Singh assured that India remains the least affected country with sufficient stocks of crude oil, energy, and LPG, and that a high-level ministerial committee under his chairmanship is monitoring the situation weekly. He confirmed that the government has arranged evacuation flights for stranded Indians and highlighted India’s balanced diplomacy, noting that Indian ships were among the few that successfully passed through the disrupted Strait of Hormuz, while Prime Minister Modi has consistently appealed for peace.
