Ram Mandir Names Operation Sindoor Veteran Ex-Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra As CEO

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has announced retired Indian Air Force officer Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Ram Mandir administration in Ayodhya.

Air Marshal Mishra is a former Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Indian Air Force’s Western Air Command. He led the command during Operation Sindoor and has also served in key roles in the Integrated Defence Staff. His career in the Indian Air Force spanned more than 38 years, with over 3,000 flying hours across fighter aircraft, transport aircraft and helicopters. Reports also note his role in the early operationalisation of laser-guided bombs on Mirage 2000 aircraft during the Kargil conflict.

The appointment is significant for the long-term administration and management of the Ram Mandir. The Trust had initiated a formal process to appoint its first permanent CEO, with the selection exercise involving thousands of applications and a final shortlist considered by the Trust.
