Ranchi Protest In Full Throttle As Devendra Nath Mahto Joins 'Vidhan Sabha Gherao' | Jharkhand

The 'Vidhan Sabha Gherao' march in Ranchi took a dramatic turn as student leader Devendra Nath Mahato joined the protest by arriving in an ambulance, underscoring the physical toll of his prolonged hunger strike. Mahato started his fast at Ranchi's Jaipal Singh Stadium after the JPSC Prelims results were announced on July 5, alleging irregularities including cutoff manipulation and OMR sheet tampering. 
The march unfolded on the 17th day of the student agitation in Ranchi, with protesters proceeding peacefully toward the Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha even as Mahato accused the state government of "deceiving" the students rather than genuinely addressing their demands.
