Russian President Putin Arrives In Delhi Ahead Of BRICS Summit, Set To Meet PM Modi At 3:30 PM

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in New Delhi ahead of the 18th BRICS Summit 2026, set for September 12–13 at Bharat Mandapam. Putin is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 3:30 PM, followed by discussions on trade, defence cooperation, and energy ties.

The visit comes as India holds its fourth stint as BRICS chair and marks Putin's second trip to India within a year. With BRICS marking 20 years since its formation, this high-level meeting is expected to further strengthen the strategic partnership between India and Russia.
