Students' Federation of India Protest Across Delhi Against Alleged Assault Of A 16-Year-Old

Students’ Federation of India led a ‘Women Reclaim the Night’ march on Delhi roads to protest the alleged rape of a 16-year-old and demand women’s safety.

Protesters highlighted how women, who form half the population, still lack the basic right to move freely at night and feel especially unsafe on Delhi University campuses during DUSU elections due to hooliganism, muscle power, and goons who scale hostel walls and harass female students. The protest sent a clear message: women are reclaiming their campuses and streets.
