Uttar Pradesh Elections: BJP At Its Aggressive Best, Yogi Has the Advantage | Arnab’s Lead

With the Uttar Pradesh elections now the focus for the next three to four months, the BJP is rallying firmly behind Yogi Adityanath. Amit Shah congratulated him for ending 'Mafia Raj and improving the investment climate, while the newly appointed BJP national president named him the party’s face at Republic's Rashtra Sarvopari Sammelan 2026. Arnab argues the narrative that the BJP lost its base is wrong: its vote share was 42.63% in 2014, 49.98% in 2019 and about 41.67% in 2024, never dipping below 41%. He says the RSS and BJP are more united than ever, calls Akhilesh Yadav a worthy opponent, and notes that crossing 45% vote share is the key challenge.
