Amit Shah Says Courts to Act Fast for Ministers in Jail

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, speaking on the 130th Amendment Bill, said courts will promptly decide bail for jailed leaders. If the PM, CM, or any minister remains in custody for over 30 days, they must vacate their post. He stressed that the country cannot be run from jail, noting even the Constitution makers never envisioned such a situation. The Opposition, however, has termed the bill unconstitutional and accused the government of targeting non-BJP leaders.
