Semicon India 2025: PM Modi's 'Economic Selfishness' Dig at Donald Trump
At the inauguration of the Semicon India 2025 Conference in Delhi, Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw presented the first made-in-India Vikram 32-bit processor, developed by ISRO’s Semiconductor Lab, to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Vaishnaw also handed over test chips from four approved projects. In his address, PM Modi took a veiled swipe at Donald Trump, stating that “economic selfishness” has become a challenge for India and the wider world.
