At least three people were killed and 14 others were injured following a mass shooting at a bar in Austin, Texas, on Sunday. The suspect behind the shootout was also killed on the scene in an exchange of fire with police.

Police said that they received a call to report a male shooting at Buford's bar. When they arrived at the scene, they confronted the man and subsequently killed him in an exchange of fire. EMS Chief Robert Luckritz said, “We received a call at 1:39 a.m. and within 57 seconds, the first paramedics and officers were on scene actively treating the patients.”
A video has surfaced showing people lying on the floor of the bar as emergency officials tried to revive them. A girl was seen crying as she pumped the heart of a boy lying unconscious.
Mass shooting in USA is on the rise. On the same day as the Texas shooting, another mass shooting was reported in Ohio's Cincinnati's East End, where at least nine people were injured and taken to a hospital after a mass incident at a music and event venue. Kellogg Avenue was temporarily shut following the shooting.
