Aliyev gives update on fighting in Jabrayil region

Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev on Sunday claimed his armed forces had taken the town of Jabrayil and nine villages in the surrounding area during the ongoing conflict with Armenia over the breakaway region of Nagorno Karabakh. "Our territorial integrity must be restored and we are on the right path," said Aliyev in a televised address to the nation.

"We are driving them away like dogs," he added.
