Former kickboxer and social media influencer Andrew Tate’s bodyguard has said that the women around Tate thought that they would be his “first wife”.  In an exclusive with the British news outlet BBC, the bodyguard of the British-American influencer claimed that more than 100 women had pass through Tate’s compound in Bucharest. The bodyguard named Bogdan Stancu has been working with Andrew Tate for the last two years. In the Monday interview, Stancu asserted that he used to “physically remove women” who were “too drunk”.

The self-proclaimed “Top G” was arrested by the Romanian authorities along with his brother Tristan Tate. The duo was held over human trafficking charges and the Romanian authorities have found 6 victims of the Tate brother’s ploy. In the past, Bogdan has served as an intelligence police officer. While Stancu stated that some of the women caused “problems”, he made it clear that no force was used on them. "Some of the girls misunderstood the reality and believed [they would] be his next wife," Stancu said. He then went on to add, “When they realised the reality, it's easy to transform from a friend into an enemy, and make a statement to the police”. The loyal bodyguard insisted that Tate’s public persona is the opposite of his “real character”.

Most of the women were under 25 and their expenses were paid, says bodyguard

Bogdan Stancu elaborated that the expenses of all the girls associated with the Tate brothers were paid off. The bodyguard also claimed that most of the women in and out of the luxurious villa were under the age of 25. Stancu expressed his distrust over the women who accused Tate and said, "I never doubt Andrew”. The bodyguard called the women, “young and stupid”. However, the security guard didn’t express his discontent with the ongoing investigation, he made it clear that if the Tate brothers are found guilty of what they are accused of then “they must pay for their crimes”.

The British-American brothers are currently serving 30-day custody in Romania. Earlier this week, the Romanian authorities stated that they have seized around $4 million worth of assets from Andrew Tate. The Romania’s Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ANABI) seized his luxurious motor vehicles and stashes of different currencies. The ANABI stated that the seizure was conducted under the instructions of the prosecutors of the Directorate for the Investigation of Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT). While the Romanian authorities have identified six victims in the case, two of the identified women came out in support of the Tate brothers.
