World Trade Organization (WTO) chief Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala had a special request for Prime Minister Narendra Modi as she attended the 18th G20 Summit in New Delhi, India, on Sunday. While meeting the PM during a session, she brought along the book 'Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery', seeking the PM's autograph on it.

After interacting with the WTO boss, PM Modi signed the book with his autograph. The warm gesture has gone viral on social media, amassing more than 40,000 views. Released last year, 'Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery' is a compilation of chapters penned by External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar, writer Amish Tripathi, badminton icon PV Sindhu, Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher, and Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah among others.

It details the Prime Minister's meteoric rise in Indian politics and the significant contributions he has made along the way. From his early days in Gujarat to transformative changes introduced nationwide, the book aims to give insight into PM Modi's "unique model of governance."

WTO boss shares G20 highlights on social media

The G20 summit, which recently wrapped up in the national capital, added yet another feather to the PM's cap. He hosted foreign leaders and delegates from around the world for the two-day event. The summit was also attended by WTO's Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, who shared glimpses of the mega event on her social media handle.

One of the summit's key highlights was the African Union's induction to the G20. Commending this she wrote, "Congratulations to India for pulling off a successful #G20 Leaders Summit, which included the admission of the @_AfricanUnion as the 21st Member of the G20. This enhances the voice of the South in this global forum."

During the two days, the WTO Director general attended the gala dinner, held talks with global leaders, and also had a selfie moment with US President Joe Biden. "At the G20 leaders Summit. Some great moments with President Joe Biden @POTUS and also with @JakeSullivan46 National Security Advisor, discussing @WTO reform especially reform of the Dispute Settlement System. President Biden surprised us by taking a photo of me, my staff and @JakeSullivan46," she said.
