Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga expressed his sympathy on Sunday to all who have been affected by the earthquake and assured that the government is doing its utmost to have the disaster emergency measures in place.

The 7.3 magnitude temblor struck late Saturday shook the quake-prone areas of Fukushima and Miyagi prefectures.
