A more than 10-hour 'Fire Fight Australia' concert took place in Sydney on Sunday to raise money for Australian bushfire relief.

The concert featured artists such as Queen and Adam Lambert and Michael Bublé, via a live cross from the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.

Grammy award winning Canadian singer songwriter k.d. lang, Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer Alice Cooper and Irish superstar Ronan Keating also took part.

Australian talent included 5 Seconds of Summer, Icehouse, John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John, Pete Murray and Tina Arena.

The concert was hosted by writer, actor and comedian Celeste Barber, who has already raised more than $50 million towards bushfire relief through her own online appeal.

All concert ticket profits will go towards key organisations providing vital rescue, relief and recovery, and rehabilitation.

All donations made throughout the broadcast will go directly to the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal's Fire Fight Fund to ensure local community groups can access support.
