Non-Aligned Movement summit opens in Belgrade

Serbia's president Aleksandar Vucic and the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Monday opened a Non-Aligned Movement summit in Belgrade.

The summit is a high level meeting dedicated to marking the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement and is being co-hosted by Serbia and Azerbaijan.

Around 80 high level delegations, led by heads of state and 40 foreign ministers are expected to attend.

The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) comprises 120 developing countries, representing the interests of developing nations across the cultural, political and economic sectors.
