Blast at Peshawar Mosque During Friday Prayers; 5 Killed, 30 Injured

Peshawar Blast: A powerful explosion took place at the Qissa Khwani Jamia Mosque in Pakistan 's Peshawar, during Friday prayers, killing at least five people and injuring more than 30 others. 

The death toll is expected to rise as several of the injured were reported to be in critical condition.

Blast Took Place During Friday Prayers

The mosque was packed with worshippers when the blast occurred. Panic spread as people ran for safety, while others rushed to help the injured. Emergency teams rushed to the scene, and the injured were shifted to nearby hospitals. Security forces cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the cause of the explosion.
