Prince Harry Fears Knife or Acid Attack on Meghan, King Charles May Face 'Incredibly Sad Situation'

London: Prince Harry expressed that he feared his wife Meghan Markle would get surely attacked with a knife or acid if they visited the UK. 

The Prince revealed the same in the ITV documentary 'Tabloids on Trial' where he expressed that his wife and popular American actor Markle could be under threat.

He stated, "It only takes one lone actor [who reads negative stories about Harry and Meghan in the press] with a knife or acid."

Prince Harry, King Charles III's younger son, who relocated to the USA with his family after stepping down from royal duties, said there was more than enough attention on him and his wife.

He said, “There is more than enough attention on me and my wife anyway. They pushed me too far. It got to a point where you’re damned if you do, you’re damned if you don’t.”

Prince Harry said he felt that the constant negative coverage had tarnished Markle’s public image back in the UK. 

He said, “It’s still dangerous. And all it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff, to act on what they have read... And whether it’s a knife or acid, whatever it is. These are things that are a genuine concern for me. It’s one of the reasons why I won’t bring my wife back to this country.”

King Charles May Face 'Incredibly Sad Situation'

A royal expert, on Tuesday, claimed that King Charles might face an 'incredibly sad situation' after Prince Harry voiced his fears about bringing back his wife and children back to the UK.

“It would be great to think that at some point soon the King would get to visit the grandchildren that he has seen very little of, but he is 75 and still not in the best of health. A visit to America is unlikely to be a high priority now, given the other demands on his time," said Joe Little, Managing Editor of Majesty magazine.
