Georgia: A Turkish C-130 military cargo plane, carrying 20 military personnel, crashed in the Georgia-Azerbaijan border region. The aircraft, en route from Azerbaijan to Turkiye, met with the accident, prompting a joint search and rescue operation by the Turkish, Azerbaijani, and Georgian governments.

The Turkish Defence Ministry confirmed the crash, stating that the plane had taken off from Azerbaijan and was heading to Türkiye when it went down. The ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and assured that search and rescue efforts were underway.

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev also extended his condolences to the families of the victims, saying that the news of the crash had deeply shaken the nation. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed the crash and said that the administration was trying to reach the wreckage in coordination with relevant authorities.

According to reports, the Georgian Air Navigation Authority stated that radar contact was lost a few minutes after the plane entered Georgian airspace. The cause of the crash is yet to be ascertained, and an investigation is underway.

The C-130 Hercules is used military transport aircraft, known for its versatility and ability to operate in challenging environments. The Turkish Air Force has a fleet of C-130 aircraft, which are used for various military and humanitarian missions.

The crash has left everyone shocked in the region, with leaders and officials expressing their condolences and paying tribute to the victims.
