The Iran foreign ministry’s spokesperson said Tehran had already “strongly rejected” proposals that the Axios news outlet reported the US had put forward for the agreement with Iran. Axios had reported earlier that the deal included Iran agreeing to a moratorium on nuclear enrichment.

An unnamed Iranian military official says the fire at Fujairah port was not a planned Iranian attack and instead blamed the United States.

“The Islamic Republic had no pre‑planned programme to attack the mentioned oil facilities, and what happened was the result of US military adventurism aimed at creating a passage for the illegal transit of ships through the restricted waterways of the Strait of Hormuz,” the official told.

The Iran-backed Lebanese group provided a series of updates on attacks on Israeli troops and equipment in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah said it targeted Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the strategic coastal area of Biyyada, while also striking a tank with a drone in the town of al-Qaouzah.

An Israeli military official said the army remained on high alert and was monitoring the situation after the US admiral announced the destroyed Iranian boats and shot-down missiles.

Denmark’s freight giant Maersk said on Tuesday that one of its ships has successfully sailed through the Strait of Hormuz under US escort.

The ship, US-flagged Alliance Fairfax, had been stuck in the Gulf since the war erupted in February and was “offered the opportunity” to leave accompanied by the US military.

Iran’s Parliamentary Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf said a new equation in the Strait of Hormuz was taking shape and accused the United States and its allies of undermining maritime security by violating the ceasefire and imposing a blockade.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa has reported multiple raids from Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank overnight on Monday.

Israeli forces stormed the villages of Jorat Al-Sham’a, Wadi al-Nis and Umm Salmuna, raiding a number of Palestinian homes.

An Iranian lawmaker on Tuesday said the Islamic Republic has missiles that can split into 80 bombs or separate warheads, claiming the capability could overwhelm US air defenses, Iran International reported.

Hosseinali Hajideligani, deputy head of parliament’s Article 90 committee, said firing 10 such missiles at once would amount to 800 bombs, asking: “what THAAD, what Patriot can hit these?”

A fire broke out on several commercial ships in a dock in Iran’s ‌southern port of Dayyer, Aljazeera reported citing state media.

Majid Omrani, head of the Dayyer Port Fire Department, told IRGC-affiliated Mehr News Agency, that firefighters are working to contain the fire.

Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf on Tuesday said that US actions are jeopardizing security of shipping and energy transit, accusing of violating the ceasefire.

“The new equation of the Strait of Hormuz is in the process of being solidified. The security of shipping and energy transit has been jeopardized by the United States and its allies through the violation of the ceasefire and the imposition of a blockade; of course, their evil will diminish,” he wrote in a post on X.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has called on the Iranian leadership to resume diplomatic negotiations following Monday's missile and drone strikes directed at the United Arab Emirates (UAE). 

The strikes represent the first instance of Iranian military action against the Gulf state since a ceasefire was established nearly four weeks ago. According to the UAE Defence Ministry, its air defence systems successfully intercepted a total of 12 ballistic missiles, three cruise missiles, and four drones.

The United Arab Emirates's education ministry has ordered all schools to return to remote teaching for the remainder of the week following fresh attacks on the country by Iran.

New Delhi has said the reported Iranian attack on the UAE's Fujairah that resulted in injury to three Indian nationals is "unacceptable".

"We call for immediate cessation of these hostilities and the targeting of civilian infrastructure and innocent civilians. India continues to stand for dialogue and diplomacy to deal with the situation, so that peace and stability may be restored across West Asia," a spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs said.

Reports indicate that the six "so-called Iranian small boats" fired upon by US forces on Monday were not associated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Instead, Tehran maintains that they were civilian vessels transporting passengers and commercial goods.

Iran and the US tested an already fragile ceasefire as both nations fired munitions at each other in the crucial waterway of the Strait of Hormuz in the last 24 hours.

While US President Donald Trump refused to comment on whether the truce holds or not, in an interview to Fox News, he warned that Iran will be “blown off the face of the Earth” if it targets US ships.

US Navy MH-60 Sea Hawk helicopters are supporting Project Freedom in and near the Strait of Hormuz. Earlier today, Sea Hawk and U.S. Army AH-64 Apache helicopters were used to eliminate Iranian small boats threatening commercial shipping.

Trump has called on South Korea to join the US-led maritime operation after alleging that an Iranian-linked attack targeted a South Korean cargo vessel. He also claimed that the American forces had engaged with Iranian-linked vessels, with the claim that seven of the Iranian "fast " boats were shot down.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump claimed Iran had targeted "unrelated nations" in relation to ship movements, including an incident involving a South Korean cargo vessel, and suggested Seoul should consider joining the US-led effort.

"We've shot down seven small Boats or, as they like to call them, 'fast' Boats. It's all they have left," Trump wrote.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) said its air defence systems intercepted a large-scale missile and drone attack launched from Iran on Monday as regional tensions surged alongside sharp warnings from the Iranian military accusing the UAE of aligning with Israel and the United States.

The UAE Ministry of Defense said its air defence systems engaged 12 ballistic missiles, 3 cruise missiles, and 4 unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Iran. The ministry reported that the attack resulted in three moderate injuries.

 Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, in response to the ongoing US Project Freedom and the recent strikes on the UAE on Tuesday, said that the events in the Strait of Hormuz region highlight the limits of military approaches to political disputes.

In a post on X, he said, "Events in Hormuz make clear that there's no military solution to a political crisis."

International leaders, including European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, have condemned recent alleged Iranian missile and drone attacks on the United Arab Emirates (UAE), expressing solidarity with Abu Dhabi and urging renewed diplomatic efforts to stabilize the escalating regional crisis.

Three Indian nationals were injured after Iran launched a fresh wave of missile and drone attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates, with one strike triggering a fire at Fujairah Oil Industrial Zone on Monday. 

The Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi said it is coordinating closely with local authorities to assist those affected.

Donald Trump on Monday (local time) sharpened his warnings to Iran over its nuclear program and regional tensions, saying that the United States "can't let Iran have a nuclear weapon".

"We're truly making America great again. It's... we're doing record, record business," Trump said. “We can't let Iran have a nuclear weapon. We hit all new highs, and I said we have to take care of business because we can't let that happen.”
