Freezing water hampers Texas firefighters

Video from San Antonio, Texas TV station KSAT shows firefighters in Bexar County battling a fire in a large apartment building during the extreme cold temperatures that much of the state is dealing with.

"Our main concern is water supply. All of these hydrants out here are dry. Well, they're not dry they're just frozen and there's no water," Fire Chief Jerry Bialick of the Bexar-Bulverde Volunteer Fire Department told KSAT.

San Antonio has been dealing with snowfall in addition to frigid temperatures. Forecasters called for up to 3 inches (7.6 cm) of snow in the city.
