Vice President Kamala Harris visits a local pharmacy in Washington DC to highlight the need for residents to get the vaccine when it's their turn. Harris discussed with the pharmacist the difference between hesitancy and access to the vaccine. The pharmacy in the Southeast part of the city is participating in the administration's Federal Retail Pharmacy Program.
Harris spoke about how she felt after getting her shots, while the vaccine was being administered to a local resident.
"On the second dose, I thought I was fine. I got up early in the morning, went to work, and then midday I realized, yeah, it might I might need to slow down a bit," said Harris.
