Trump hits out at Europe over corruption fight

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday hit out at European leaders for their failure to increase their financial contribution to the battle against corruption.

"Why is it that the United States is always giving foreign countries money, and Germany, and France and all of Europe, they're not doing much?" he asked reporters.

The president was speaking as he arrived to host a New Year's Eve reception at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
