Pioneering aerospace advancements take center stage in New Delhi amid HAL's Avionics Expo-2023
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is set to showcase its avionics heritage at Avionics Expo-2023 in New Delhi, highlighting cutting-edge systems.
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is gearing up to present its rich heritage in avionics design, development, and production at the upcoming Avionics Expo-2023. Scheduled to take place at Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi, on December 7-8, the expo will be inaugurated by Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan.
C B Ananthakrishnan, CMD (Additional Charge), HAL, expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity to showcase HAL's capabilities and contributions toward fostering self-reliance in avionics. The event aims to engage stakeholders, including the Indian Armed Forces, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Civil Aviation, DRDO, and other significant institutions.
Avionics product displays: Unveiling cutting-edge technologies
The expo will unveil a comprehensive range of avionics products designed and developed by HAL. Attendees will witness cutting-edge avionics systems deployed in various aircraft platforms, including advanced flight control systems, communication systems, navigation systems, and more. D K Sunil, Director (Engineering and R&D), highlighted that the event would serve as a hub for professionals, industry leaders, and stakeholders from the aviation sector, providing ample networking opportunities to establish meaningful connections, foster collaborations, and explore potential business partnerships.
Engaging panel discussions will feature experts from the Indian Armed Forces, HAL, partner organizations, and academia. Topics will span emerging trends in avionics, challenges in system integration, and the future of aviation electronics, offering a holistic view of the sector. 'HAL Avionics Expo 2023' will provide live demonstrations of avionics products and systems, offering a unique opportunity to experience their capabilities firsthand.
Beyond being an exhibition, the Avionics Expo is a step toward achieving self-reliance in avionics, showcasing HAL's commitment to advancing aerospace technology in India. Engineering students from in and around Delhi have also been invited to gain a unique experience and insight into the cutting-edge advancements in avionics technology.
Earlier, on November 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in Bengaluru after his maiden sortie on LCA Tejas twin-seater aircraft. During the visit, he explored the production facilities of LCA Tejas aircraft, being briefed about the technology-intensive work done by HAL towards realizing the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The Prime Minister appreciated HAL's initiatives in ramping up capacities and capabilities, emphasizing the significance of Tejas as a lightweight, all-weather multi-role aircraft in the Indian Air Force's fighter fleet.
