 Cut-off Marks:
The prescribed cut-off marks include 40% for general category candidates, 36.5% for backward-class candidates, and 36.5% for extremely backward-class candidates. SC/ST candidates must secure a minimum qualifying mark of 34%, while SC/ST women and differently-abled candidates need a minimum of 32% to pass the written examination. Candidates falling below these stipulated minimums won't be considered for the merit list.

 Tie-Breaker:
For merit list preparation, total marks from the written exam (excluding language marks) are used. In the case of equal total marks, the marks of the main section (Part III) of the selected subject are employed as the initial tie-breaker, except for teachers of classes 1-5, where no such tie-breaker applies. If marks remain equal, language section scores are utilized as the second tie-breaker for teachers of classes 1-5.
