AAP leader and Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister has made a shocking accusation against the Bharatiya Janata Party alleging the saffron party of "buying" his party's all seven MLAs from Delhi due fear of loss in the national capital.
Taking to Twitter, the AAP leader alleged that all the seven AAP legislators from had been offered Rs 10 crore each to quit the party and switch over to BJP. He further challenged the Prime Minister to come on the battlefield on the grounds of development and not "buying the legislators".
"Due to the fear of losing in Delhi, BJP is trying to buy the 7 AAP MLAs with an offer of 10-10 crores each. Modi ji, this does not suit you. You want to win the elections by buying the MLAs. Come to the field in the name of work," wrote Manish Sisodia taking to Twitter.
Reacting to Manish Sisodia's allegation, BJP media head Ashok Goyal said that the AAP is baffled since it is losing the elections due to which its leaders are trying desperately to gain attention by making bizarre allegations.
"Arvind Kejriwal is not being able to stop the rebellion of AAP MLAs and is dragging BJP's name in their internal problems," Goyal said speaking to news agency PTI
This shocking claim from the AAP leader has come only days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that 40 Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLAs were in touch with him. While addressing a rally in Serampore in West Bengal, PM Modi had said:
"Didi, when the results will be announced on May 23 and lotus(BJP) will bloom on all four corners of the country, your MLAs will also abandon you and run away. Just watch. Even today, I am in touch with 40 of your MLAs. It is difficult for you to survive now, Didi because of your betrayal."
