New Delhi: It is final showtime for India, as the country heads for the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha Elections with 57 seats across 8 states and UTs going to polls. The polling is scheduled for June 1, which will commence at 7 am and will conclude at 6 pm.

A total of 904 candidates are in the fray in the seventh phase, of which 328 are from Punjab, 144 from Uttar Pradesh, 134 from Bihar, 66 from Odisha, 52 from Jharkhand, 37 from Himachal Pradesh, and four from Chandigarh.

In the previous phase, West Bengal's Bhishnupur saw the highest turnout at 85.91 per cent, an overall 1,507,040 voters cast their vote. On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh's Phulpur saw the lowest voter turnout recorded at 48.91 per cent, where only 2,067,043 electors voted.
