Lucknow: The BJP's minority front is set to launch a campaign called "Shukriya Modi Bhaijaan" in Uttar Pradesh's Lok Sabha constituencies next week. This initiative aims to engage Muslim women and draw their support for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Kunwar Basit Ali, the Uttar Pradesh BJP Minority Morcha President, shared that the campaign's tagline, "Na duri hai, na khai hai, Modi hamara bhai hai (there's no detachment, there's no chasm, Modi is our brother)," seeks to attract at least 1,000 Muslim women to support the BJP. The primary focus of the event, as per Ali, will be on informing Muslim women about the government's efforts under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and encouraging them to vote for the BJP.
According to reports, the campaign plans to showcase the benefits of various government schemes, including the Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, and others, ensuring that Muslim women can access these programs. Ali highlighted that the campaign will commence on January 2 and run until January 20.
Explaining the rationale behind the campaign's name, Ali underlined that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has prioritised Muslim women in multiple schemes, leading to a brother-sister relationship with them. He also noted the recent trend where Muslim women across the state expressed gratitude to district magistrates for the government schemes, inspiring the "Shukriya Modi Bhaijaan" programs planned in every Lok Sabha constituency of Uttar Pradesh.”"Muslim women in all districts of the state gave a memorandum thanking the district magistrates regarding the schemes of the Modi government. Taking this trend forward, ''Shukriya Modi Bhaijaan'' programmes will be organised in every Lok Sabha constituency (of the state)”, Ali added.
