Instances where Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter bonded big time

Shahid Kapoor was born to actors Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem. However, his parents soon got separated when he was young and his mother got married to actor Rajesh Khatter and had a son named Ishaan Khatter. While the two siblings might not have been born in the same family, they are still close and have often publicly supported each other. The bond between Ishaan Khattar and Shahid Kapoor is one that gives all who follow them major sibling goals.

The two siblings often hang out together. Ishaan seems to enjoy spending time with his brother, sister-in-law and his niece and nephew. Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Kapoor has posted many pictures that show Shahid and Ishaan spending time together.

Ishaan made his debut with Beyond the Clouds. He won the best male debut award for his role in the movie. Shahid Kapoor was proud of his brother's achievement and during the IIFA awards, he even gave the award to his brother himself.

After the release of Shahid's film Kabir Singh, Ishaan took to social media to praise his brother film. He even defended the film from critics that said that the movie promoted misogyny by stating that it was a character drama that broke down the downfalls of an aggressive personality. In an interview, Ishaan talked about the rare equation that he has with his brother. He was asked if his brother had any influence in his life. He said that his brother was indeed an influence. He said that he was only eight years old when his brother made his debut in the 2003 film Ishq Vishk. He was fascinated by his brother's acting career and would visit him on set every day. His constant visits to the film set made him idolize his brother and piqued his interest in the process of filmmaking. He also said that he and Shahid had an interesting equation. He said that Shahid loved playing the big brother card but at the same time would talk to him as a friend would. And as both the actors started their career at a similar age, they could even exchange their perspectives.

Ishaan Khatter will next be seen in the upcoming supernatural comedy thriller film Khaali Peeli. The movie is slated to release on June 12, 2020. The director of the movie is Maqbool Khan and the producer is Ali Abbas Zafar.
